近年、日本の大正ロマン的レトロな雰囲気を、独自の解釈と
大胆なディフォルメで 作品に取り入れています。

Drawing people, plants, and animals adorably is his forte. His recent trend is to adapt romanticism in Taisho period. Based on his unique understanding of art style of that time, he wildly alters its retro feel and applies it into his work.
Though still limited in numbers, he also works on sharp line drawings borrowing from Japanese paper cutout and anime under the name “KUMA”.

Born in 1977. Pursuing his career on cartoonist, he won cartoon related award at SHUEISHA Inc. in 1998. After having worked for a household goods manufacturer as a product designer/illustrator, he began his career as a freelance commercial illustrator in 2008.

■略歴
1997年大阪デザイナー専門学校卒業
1998年漫画家志す。集英社ヤングジャンプ、ビジネスジャンプにて受賞歴あり。
2004 年11月よりファンシー雑貨メーカーにイラストレーター、企画デザイナーとして勤務。
2008年11月ファンシー雑貨メーカーを経て、イラストレーター、デザイナーとして活動中。
現在大阪府在住
